Recreational Classes

Our Current Recreational Program Schedule

Girls' Level 1 

 

This class is designed for the beginner gymnast.   Level 1 is broken into two age groups: ages 5-7 and ages 8+.  The children will learn the basics of the four apparatus: vault, bars, beam and floor.  They will also go on our 30 ft. trampoline, rope and in-ground foam pit.  This level is important for learning terminology as well as building strength so that the child can perform the gymnastics skills safely.

Girls' Level 2

 

This is the second level of gymnastics for our grade school girls. To enter Level 2 the child must have passed through the Level 1 skills with proficiency as well as have the strength and flexibility needed to learn the harder gymnastics skills.

Girls' Advanced Recreational

 

This class is designed for the child who has achieved all of the skills on the Level 3 Star Chart and wishes to continue learning without the atmosphere or commitment of the competitive team.

Boys' Level 1

 

This class is designed for the beginner gymnast. Level 1 is broken into two age groups: ages 6-8 and ages 8+. The children will learn the basics of the six apparatus: vault, parallel bars, high bar, floor, pommel horse and rings. They will also go on our 30 ft. trampoline, rope and in-ground foam pit. This level is important in learning terminology as well as building strength so that the child can perform the gymnastics skills safely.

Boy's Level 2

 

This is the second level of gymnastics for our grade school boys. To enter Level 2 the child must have passed through the Level 1 skills with proficiency as well as have the strength and flexibility needed to learn the harder gymnastics skills.
